In my hair ...
This photograph is one of two I created for a client who manufactures pumps and compressors. Not the most interesting of products you may think, but we’ve all filled out tyres or taken a shower sometime, so I guess everyone at some stage has benefited from them. The brief was simply to have some creative photography on the walls of their new offices.
I had been impressed years ago seeing how David Hockney worked with joined up photographs and digital seemed offer a natural medium for this style of photography. Two months later I had the end results taken from over a thousand photographs. This image has recently been blown up to 2m x 3.8m for an exhibition display and has also been purchased been by the head office in Germany.
