Brown Sugar
A sun tanning chain asked me to photograph some of their clients in order to show the benefits of both their spray booths and conventional UV sun tanning booths to different skins types. Their clients were happy to oblige and they each received free treatments, together a portrait of themself.
About twelve different subjects of varying ages, sex and colour were selected and shot on location in Sheffield, sometimes using a gold reflector to control the colour of the light in their faces. The resulting images were turned into A2 and A1 posters with a snappy response to the catch line "How come you look so good?".
